Our company’s founder and Medical Director, Dr. Andrew Will, opens a small, solo pain management clinic in Eden Prairie, MN. He named it Twin Cities Pain Clinic.

2005
The practice thrived under Dr. Will’s leadership, and in 2005 it was relocated to a larger space in Edina, MN.
2010
After five more years of success in the second location, the practice was moved once more to its current space on Ohms Lane in Edina.
2014
As our organization continued to grow, we opened two new clinics to help meet the increasing demand for expert pain management care.

2016
In a monumental moment, we proudly opened Twin Cities Surgery Center, a state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery center that allows us to perform the most advanced pain management procedures under our very own roof.
2017
Twin Cities Surgery Center is the first facility in Minnesota and the Midwest to offer the Intellis™ neurostimulation platform by Medtronic, which included the world’s smallest implantable spinal cord stimulator (SCS).

In October, Dr. Andrew Will implants the new Proclaim™ Dorsal Root Ganglion (DRG) Neurostimulator system by Abbott.

Twin Cities Anesthesia is established.
2018
In February, at Twin Cities Surgery Center, Dr. Andrew Will and Dr. Sherri Haas become the first physicians in Minnesota to implant the Spectra WaveWriter™ Neurostimulator system by Boston Scientific.
2018
We opened our Burnsville clinic in March, bringing the grand total of clinic locations to four.

In October, we officially announced the formation of our clinical research team, who partners with healthcare groups and major medical device companies to improve patient care through the advancement of science and medicine.
2019
Twin Cities Transportation is established.
2019
Our telemedicine program launches, allowing patients to visit with providers from the comfort of home.
2019
In November, the very first procedure is successfully completed at our brand new ambulatory surgery center in Burnsville.
2020
Dr. Andrew Will performed a trial procedure of the new Medtronic DTM™ spinal cord stimulation system. It was the first DTM™ trial performed in the state of Minnesota, and one of only 20 pilot trials across the entire country.

Dr. Anne Kokayeff becomes the first female doctor in the state of Minnesota to implant the Vertiflex® interspinous spacer by Boston Scientific.
2021
Dr. Sherri Haas becomes the first physician in the Twin Cities to implant the new WaveWriter Alpha™ spinal cord stimulator system by Boston Scientific.

Twin Cities Pain Clinic becomes the first healthcare organization in Minnesota to integrate the NeuroSphere™ Virtual Clinic system by Abbott.

Dr. Anne Kokayeff and Dr. Andrew Will successfully complete our organization’s first Intracept procedure at Twin Cities Surgery Center in Edina.

Twin Cities Pain Clinic and Twin Cities Surgery center both win GOLD in the first annual Minnesota’s Best contest.

Dr. Sherri Haas becomes the first female physician in Minnesota to implant the new VANTATM spinal cord stimulator by Medtronic.

The Twin Cities Pain Clinic Research Team has a study published in the Journal of Pain Research. Our team were among a group of experts researching advancements in spinal cord stimulation technology.

Dr. Sherri Haas becomes the first female physician in the upper Midwest to implant the new Proclaim Plus™ spinal cord stimulation system by Abbott.

Our team at the Burnsville Surgery Center is the first first in the Midwest to implant the new Eterna spinal cord simulation system by Abbott.

In May, Twin Cities Pain Clinic celebrates 20 years of relieving pain and renewing lives.

On Tuesday, July 11, our clinic in Maplewood, MN opened its doors.

On Thursday, August 17, we saw our first patients at our new clinic in Chaska, MN.

On February 14, Dr. Andrew Will and Dr. Anne Kokayeff each implant the new SynchroMed™ III intrathecal pump from Medtronic.

Twin Cities Pain Clinic is the first healthcare group in Minnesota to implant the Inceptiv™ spinal cord stimlator system by Medtronic.
